MORE ABOUT THIS CAMERA:  The Yashica Sensation Plus is a semi-rare camera, which is kinda cool, but which also means there's not much info out there on it - just a New York Times article from 1993 saying Yashica had brought it out that year with a price tag of 165 USD. From checking out the camera itself we can tell you that its got a glass f/4.0 lens (yes glass, not plastic), self-timer, auto flash, infrared autofocus, a rewind button, and a date-stamp (which can be turned on or off). We can also tell you that it takes beautiful photos - sharp, but not too sharp, with bright bursting colours and what seems to be a fairly wide angle lens (perhaps a 30mm focal length) which is fun, especially for shooting indoors. Overall its a simplistic camera with nothing for the user to need to think about unless playing with self-timer or datestamp. It has a plastic body in a kinda boxy shape, so its no premium model. However it is fairly modern, unique, takes a lovely shot, and has ample features for a camera that's so simple to use. One thing to note is it takes an extra battery (CR2025) to power the datestamp. The CR2025 looks like a watch battery and fits into the inside of the film door. The camera works fine if the CR2025 battery is missing (minus the datestamp), which is good to know because it means you don't need to stress about when the CR2025 eventually runs out.
