CONDITION:  Film tested and fully working. Excellent condition, with normal signs of light use. The lens, viewfinder, battery compartment and film chamber are all in excellent condition. The case is in good condition too and the strap and box are showing signs of age whilst the instruction manual is pretty bent and warped. Five photos from the test roll (shot with Kodak Pro Image 100) can be viewed in the images.

MORE ABOUT THIS CAMERA:  The Yashica Minitec AF is a fun, lightweight camera which conveniently takes AA batteries and has a decent flash… in other words, the perfect party camera! It has a 32mm autofocus Tessar-type lens (f/3.5-16) so there is really not much to think about when taking a shot. The lens is also surprisingly decent for a camera that appears to be just another pocket-sized plastic point and shoot, and for this reason it has been labelled the “poor man’s T5” by some. In fact we even found on the internet someone saying that when the Minitec AF was released it was only about £20 cheaper than the Yashica T4. We weren’t trading high-end compacts in '92 so we can’t confirm or deny this, but we can confirm that the overall consensus online is that this is a pretty great camera for a plastic-bodied point and shoot. Its features include infinity focus, flash modes (including red-eye reduction), and DX-reading from 100 to 400 ISO. Takes 2x AA batteries.
