MORE ABOUT THIS CAMERA:  The Prego 140 was released by Rollei in 1999 and has quite an impressive HFT-coated Vario-Apogon f/4.6 38mm-140mm zoom lens which takes quite crisp photos, especially when the lighting is good. It has a relatively fast shutter speed for a point and shoot which ranges from 1/400 to 1/3 seconds and will automatically read the DX codes for films between 50 and 3200 ISO. It is powered by one CR123A battery, so is relatively inexpensive to run. The flash cycle time is quite quick (quoted to range from 0.5 to 6 seconds) and the infra-red autofocus system can focus on subjects as close as 68cm. But perhaps more interestingly this modern wonder has got a couple of advanced features built in, one of which is an 'Interval' mode in which the camera can be set to take regular photos at a set interval without being touched, which is absolutely perfect for nailing the dream group shot that has you in it too. There's also a 'Snap' mode in which the camera overrides the auto settings in a way that gets the majority of things in the frame in focus, which means you don't have to worry about what its focusing on, you can just 'snap'.
