MORE ABOUT THIS CAMERA:  The Rollei Prego 125 was released in 1999 and had the same specs as the Prego 140 with the only exception being the difference in the zoom lengths (125mm for the Prego 125 versus 140mm for the Prego 140). The two cameras are so similar that they actually share the one manual. The Prego 125 hosts a 38-125mm HFT-coated Vario-Apogon zoom lens which has an aperture range of f/4.6 to f/12.2 and a shutter speed range of 1/400 to 1/3 seconds. Despite some of the specs not being incredible, this camera does have the ability to take some stunning shots aided by its infra-red autofocus system and quite good glass in the lens. The area in which the Prego 125 stands out is in the amount of features offered, which includes focus lock, infinity focus mode, macro mode, film confirmation window, red-eye reduction, self timer, forced rewind button, tripod socket, LCD screen, auto film advance and rewind, multiple flash modes, snap mode, interval mode, and auto DX reading from 50 to 3200 ISO. It also has the ability to take closeups as close as 0.68cm away and a fast flash reload time. In summary it has a lot of options that will allow you to get clever with your photography however it also works completely automatically if you just wish to turn it on and shoot. A great camera for someone who appreciates a bit of zoom length on their lens and a number of shooting options.
