MORE ABOUT THIS CAMERA:  The Trip XB3 is a super user-friendly point and shoot released by Olympus in 1996. Probably its most noteworthy feature is a 'big viewfinder' which makes it quick and easy to frame your shots. The rest of the camera is built for simplicity - the only option to fiddle with is a self-timer, a handy feature when there's no one else around to take your photo. The specs on this camera are simple too, with the lens fixed at a focal length of 34mm, the aperture fixed at f/6.3, and the shutter speed fixed at a speed of 1/100 sec. Because of its basic mechanics the results can turn out a bit experimental at times and you can see this happening in some of our test photos. Choosing the right film for the light conditions can help though - 100 or 200 ISO film for sunny days and 400 at other times. The plastic body means it might not survive a whole lot of rough treatment, however the Trip XB3 will make a great pocket companion for weekends away etc. In summary its a real fun step-up from a disposable for getting easy shots in an instant as long as you treat it kindly and are mindful of the film you load it with. Takes 2x AA batteries.
