MORE ABOUT THIS CAMERA:  Released in 1990, the Olympus Infinity Jr [Gold] (also known as the Olympus AF-10 Super) is a simple camera to operate yet is fitted with a fixed-focus lens (f/3.5 35mm) that's capable of taking a very good photo. It's completely automatic, with autofocus, auto-exposure, auto flash, DX-reading, and automatic film advance and rewind. You don't really have to think about anything, just getting the perfect shot. We've tested hundreds of cameras and keep coming back to the Infinity Jr's because they're so good to use. The motor advance is well-built and super responsive, so if you're taking photos without a flash, you can shoot a whole lot of frames quite quickly for a film camera. And the flash reload isn’t too slow either if you are using the flash. Be warned though that if you take a shot with flash and then press the shutter again before the charge for the flash has reloaded then it will take a photo without a flash - so if you need the flash, and you’re shooting fast, you’ll just need to keep an eye on the flash-reload light on the top of the camera. It turns on/off via sliding the clamshell lens door open/closed, and this feature keeps the lens protected when not in use. It's a great camera for someone who likes to keep it simple, and it does take really beautiful photos too which generally bring out quite a lot of colour. Takes 2x AAA batteries (or 1x CR123A battery).
