MORE ABOUT THIS CAMERA:  The Freedom Family Zoom was released by Minolta in 1995 and was also sold under the alternate names Minolta Riva Zoom AF5 and Minolta Freedom Action Zoom II. As the name suggests, it was intended towards families with an emphasis on simplicity and affordability. It consistently takes quite nice photos, as with most of the Minolta point and shoots, however they are not the crisp, sharp, technically excellent photos you would get from a higher end film camera. Its one of the easiest cameras to use imaginable, with just a zoom lever as the only element you're able to fiddle with; everything else on this camera works automatically. Unfortunately we don't actually have a lot of info on this model, we are waiting to get our hands on a manual for it and once we do we will update this page. Definitely a great camera for someone getting into 35mm film for the first time and just looking to take some classic looking photos without getting overwhelmed with extra features.
