CONDITION: Pre-owned. Film tested and fully working. Good condition, with plenty of small scratches and signs of use on the body. Lens is in immaculate condition. Five photos from the test roll (shot with Kodak Portra 160) can be viewed in the images.

MORE ABOUT THIS CAMERA: The Pop-Super was produced by Konica in Japan from 1988 to 1992 and was a follow on from the previously popular Konica Pop series. It is one of the most simple-to-use film cameras ever made with only an 'on' switch and a shutter release button. With its solid construction (albeit plastic body) and a fairly quick flash reload time of around 3 seconds, it makes for a great party camera or something to throw in the bag for weekend trips. It has a 34mm fixed-focus lens (with a maximum aperture of f/4.5 which is a fairly common rating amongst similar cameras) that gives off a bit of a disposable vibe and somehow delivers a whole lot of colour to the photos. It will read film DX coding between 100 and 400 ISO and the shutter speed is locked at 1/125 seconds. One limitation with the Pop-Super is its closest focus distance is 1.5 meters, making it fairly useless for shooting very close range. We do however like the built-in sliding lens cover (which also acts as the on/off switch) and the colourful design. Goes best in strong sunlight. Overall a very fun camera, pretty robust, and takes great pics especially when the sun's out.
