MORE ABOUT THIS CAMERA:  The Konica Lexio 115 is quite an advanced point and shoot film camera, and its release date of 2002 makes it one of the last cameras that Konica produced before its 2003 merger with Minolta. There were two models in the Lexio range, the other being the earlier Lexio 70 from 2002 (also known as the Lexio 70W) which has a smaller zoom range - only going up to 70mm. We like the Lexio 115 for a number of reasons, but perhaps its standout attribute is its ability to remember your last mode selection when its turned off so that when the camera is turned back on you can pull it up again with just one press of the 'mode' button. This is a feature fairly unique to the Lexio - there aren't any other point and shoots that come to mind that had this feature (but let us know if you can think of one!) - and it is super useful, especially as you become more familiar with your camera and settle into a favourite setting for your style of photography. Another special feature it has is a +1.5EV exposure correction option, which basically means if your subject is in a shadow or a dark part of the frame or is perhaps silhouetted with the sun or some bright light behind them then selecting the +1.5 mode will brighten up the photo so that your subject isn't quite so lost in the dark. Plenty of other features are packed into this sleek little 35mm film camera, and it takes great images as well. The photos can occasionally be subject to lens flare, and we find this perhaps a couple of times per roll with this model, but if you don't mind the occasional quirk then it just adds a bit of fun. And otherwise the consistency of photo quality is excellent. Being such a small camera with so many features, it can be a bit fiddly, and until you get used to it there is the chance you might bump the sliding lens cover and accidentally turn it off when you're trying to shoot - but once you become familiar with it you work out how to hold it to avoid this happening. If you're after a slim film camera with a zoom and lots of other features, the Lexio 115 amongst the best options out there. It also has a tripod socket which is great for selfies or long exposures, and a film window so you can be reminded what film is loaded. It is powered by one CR2 battery, which are readily available at supermarkets, camera stores, etc. Other features include red eye reduction, self-timer, infinity mode, and pre-focus, and it can focus on subjects as close as 60cm away which is handy for closeups.
