MORE ABOUT THIS CAMERA:  Introduced in 1989, The A4 is essentially a Konica 'Big Mini', or at least the pre-cursor to the Big Mini range, a series which is highly-regarded by enthusiasts. It features a sharp f/3.5 prime-focus lens, quick autofocus, and a close-up mode. It can shoot a wide range of film speeds, with automatic DX reading from 50 to 3200 ISO, and has a fairly fast shutter with a max speed of 1/500 seconds (equivalent to the Olympus Mju-i, which is a similar camera in many ways). The back features an LCD display with a counter and a mode button with which you can set the self-timer as well as flash modes. It was manufactured in Japan which is one of the reasons it's so good, and we really liked it. It's quite slim and well designed and on our test roll it took sharp photos that have some serious character and charm to them.
