INCLUDED ITEMS:

  • Hanimex VC3200 35mm film camera
  • Strap
  • Instruction booklet
  • Original cardboard box packaging
  • 2x AA batteries
  • Roll of Kodak Gold 200 film (may vary due to availability)

CONDITION:  Pre-owned. Film tested and fully working. Excellent condition, with normal signs of light use. Eight photos from the test roll (shot with Kodak Portra 160) can be viewed in the images. The photos we took were indoors without engaging the flash on low ISO film (Portra 160), so they've come out stretching the limits of what this camera can achieve.

MORE ABOUT THIS CAMERA:  The Hanimex VC3200 is a fairly simple point and shoot 35mm film camera manufactured in China and released in 1997. It takes AA batteries to power the flash whilst the rest of the operations are powered mechanically via a thumbwheel film advance and crank return. Its most notable feature is a big viewfinder ('200% larger') which is great to use and makes it quick to frame your shot. The other handy feature is a flash on/off switch on the front of the camera, giving control to the user over the flash, which is something not always available on more simple film cameras. The flash reload time is 8 seconds, which isn't totally impressive but could be worse. The other little feature we like is the 'one-touch switch' that opens and closes the lens cover (and also acts as the on/off switch for the camera), keeping the lens protected when the camera is not in use. The lens is quite a basic focus free 35mm lens with three elements in three groups. It therefore takes a relatively lo-fi photo, kinda reminiscent of a disposable, just a small step up. It will work great in good sunlight.
