INCLUDED ITEMS:

  • Aqua-fresh Neon Lites 806 35mm film camera (Demo Stock)
  • Instruction booklet
  • Strap
  • Roll of Kodak Colorplus 200 (may vary due to availability)

CONDITION:  Demo stock. Used once. The film door is not very easy to open, there's nothing wrong with it, its just the way it was designed, it does open, it just takes some getting used to. The camera is fully working however unfortunately there was a dark patch that occurred in the middle of most of the photos on the test roll.

MORE ABOUT THIS CAMERA:  The Aqua-fresh Neon Lites 806 is a great looking camera that takes terrible photos. It is more commonly known as the Concord Neon Lites 806, but this one has the Aqua-fresh branding (and it is an identical camera). It takes two AA batteries, which power the flash. And aside from the flash, the rest of the camera operates mechanically (rather than electronically), much the same as a disposable camera works. It therefore has no autofocus or auto-exposure ability. The lack of autofocus is fine (in our opinion anyway) because it can give you that soft, focus-free, lo-fi look to a photo. The lack of auto-exposure however is more of a challenge, and we've found that photos in low light settings (such as indoors) can come out disappointingly dark. Despite being basically a toy camera, it does have a couple of features that are a bit extra, such as a sliding lens cover to protect the lens when not in use as well as a (partly) metal rewind crank which actually feels quite sturdy. A really fun camera to have in your collection or to use as a prop or pull out at a party for some attention. It won't get amazing photos, but it will get something.
